"No applause. We're here to work... This is a master class..."

Inspired by world-renowned Opera diva Maria Callas’s magnificent Juilliard master class series, Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning play spotlights the tour-de-force artist and vulnerable woman known as La Divina. Join Callas as she relentlessly coaxes, prods, and edifies her young students, motivating them to give the performances of their lives, while revealing her humor, her demons and her genius.

Just in time to celebrate the centennial of Ms. Callas's birth, BCP is proud to present this staged reading of McNally's play heralded as a "total triumph" (NY Post) and "mesmerizing theater" (NJ Star-Ledger) featuring the talents of Angela Iannone*, whose previous turns in the role have been described as "mesmerizing" (Milwaukee Magazine) and "in a master class all her own" (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

Contains adult language and themes.
