I hate theatre bios, don't you? They're always so disappointing. But whenever they've got me feeling blue, I write one about me. From Watertown, Wisconsin, Bryan made his Brief Cameo Productions debut as Franz/Dennis in Sunday in the Park with George in 2023. He has appeared on Milwaukee stages as the Narrator in the world premiere of Liz Shipe's The Incredible Adventure of Alvin Tatlock, Owen Fawcett in the world premiere of Angela lanone's The Seeds of Banquo, recurring appearances as Stan Zbornak in Purse String Productions' Golden Girls Drag Parody, and Mendy in The Lisbon Traviata by Terrence McNally.

TOM MARKS  |  Underling

Tom Marks, (he/him) was elated when he was asked to join the cast of this quirky treasure of a musical and eager to be a part of 'Brief Cameo' for you and his dear friends, Jim & Alan. He was last seen in the 2024 World Premiere of RIP - A MUSICAL COMEDY OF LIFE & DEATH as R.J., a recently dead and spoiled millionaire. Before that, his credits included the roles of Escalus in MEASURE FOR MEASURE, Pop in PLAYING SOLITAIRE, Joseph Pulitzer in NEWSIES, Major Bouvier in GREY GARDENS, Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Tom was the Artistic Director/Associate Producer of Milwaukee Entertainment Group at the Brumder Mansion B&B from 2011 to 2022, directing, performing, and designing lightIng. Originally from Chicago, he studied Music Education & Speech at DePaul University. Tom started performing in professional theater in 1957 in PETER PAN.

Ethan (he/him) is grateful and excited to be a part of this team! Originally from the Chicago suburbs, he graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BFA in acting and a minor in film studies in May 2023. JACOB IGLITZIN  |  Feldzig

Jacob Iglitzin is a New York City-based theatre artist with a focus on creating new works of musical theatre. He is a lyricist, bookwriter, composer, performer, director, and dramaturg. Originally from Seattle, WA, Jacob is active in New York as a freelance piano accompanist, vocal coach, and creative consultant. Recent original musicals for which Jacob served as lyricist and/or bookwriter include AIDEN, Elaine?!, Boys, Boys, Behave!, and The Garden of Alla. Education: Columbia University (B.A. in European History, 2019), the Musical Creators’ Institute at the Dramatists Guild of America (NYC), and the National Musical Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center (Waterford, CT). Nathan Russo is proud to take the stage with Brief Cameo once again! Last seen as the Stagehand in Master Class, this will be Nate's fourth BCP production. BRYAN SONGY  |  Aldolpho

Bryan Songy is a Louisiana-born, NYC-based, very hairy theatremaker whose work as an actor, singer, director, writer, teacher, and cabaret artist has been seen Off-Broadway, throughout New York City, and in theatres across the country. Brief Cameo audiences will remember him as Tateh in “Ragtime” and the title role in “Sunday in the Park with George.” He originated roles in the Off-Broadway casts of “Then Sean Met Khalid” and “Camp Morning Wood,” and toured for two seasons in the National Tour of “A Christmas Carol.” Other NYC credits include Paul/Others in “Rent” (The Secret Theatre), Robert in “Boeing-Boeing” (Brookes Stage Co.), Ross/Rosalind in “As HE Likes It,” Caliban in “The Tempest,” and Rod Serling in “A Fifth Dimension” (Sour Grapes Prods.), and the world premiere of Sybil Lines’ “Bastard Blood.”  Favorite regional: Trunchbull in “Matilda,” Carlino in “Wait Until Dark,” The Mayor in “Seussical” (Fort Peck Summer Theatre), and Fogg/Soloist in “Sweeney Todd,” Van Buren in “Damn Yankees,” and The Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz” (Four Corners Musical Theatre).  He has been featured at The Duplex, Don’t Tell Mama, and The Stonewall Inn, and recently premiered his debut solo cabaret “Rainbow High” at Chelsea Table + Stage.  Proud alum of LSU and Circle in the Square.  Thanks to the Brief Cameo fam for putting up with him for another one!  Support local theatre and public schools!  Twitter/Insta: @mistersongy

Samantha Rae Bass is a native of Cookeville, TN. Her past works include The Bodyguard, Leader Of The Pack, Beehive, The 60’s Musical, Rock and Roll Redemption, and roles such as Marie/Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Shug Avery in The Color Purple, Effie White in Dreamgirls as well as Felicia in Memphis, The Musical.  Samantha is the creative director/owner at Move In Motivation. Samantha also writes her own audio stories and has also done some commercial/film projects. Samantha would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support of her passions. JILL BRUNELLE  |  Musical Director, Keyboard

Jill Brunelle is a repertoire pianist at Yale University, working with Yale Opera, Yale School of Drama, the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and Yale College. Her recent music directing credits include The Fantasticks at Ivoryton Playhouse, and The Addams Family and Violet at Southern Connecticut State University. At Yale School of Drama Ms. Brunelle directed Steven Sondheim’s Passion, The Apple Tree, Trouble in Tahiti, and The Medium. As Yale Opera Chorus Master she has prepared ensembles for Eugene Onegin, Hänsel und Gretel, Die Zauberflöte, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Le Nozze Di Figaro and La Bohème. Ms. Brunelle recently celebrated five years as Music Director at the renowned Foote School Summer Theater. Her 2019-2020 season includes Fun Home at the Yale School of Drama, Ragtime with Brief Cameo Productions at the Ivoryton Playhouse, and the world premiere of the new opera Salt. Ms. Brunelle has served as faculty/staff at Boston University, New England Conservatory, Tufts University, Hartt School of Music, Connecticut Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, and Opera Boston. As a collaborative pianist Ms. Brunelle is highly sought after as a recital partner, performing internationally as well as at Carnegie Hall and Jordan Hall, and has performed world premieres at numerous festivals, including the celebrated Bang on a Can festival in New York City. Ms. Brunelle also collaborates frequently with area companies and ensembles, including Orchestra New England and Long Wharf Theater.

JORDAN ADAMS  |  Choreographer

Jordan Adams is delighted to be joining the BCP Family! Favorite credits include Steel Magnolias & A Christmas Carol (Niantic Bay Playhouse), Winter Wonderettes (Ivoryton Playhouse), and Cinderella (Seven Angels). She is a member of the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery dinner theatre troupe, based in New Haven, CT.  She holds an interdisciplinary arts BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance from Sweet Briar College.

Kathleen (Katie) Santomasso is returning for her third consecutive show with Brief Cameo Productions, after making her design debut with Sunday in the Park with George! Katie has worked both onstage and behind the scenes for countless shows. She is the resident Costume, Hair and Makeup Designer for the Foote School in New Haven, CT. During her off season you can find her roaming through stacks of books in the Perrine Library on campus where she has been working as a Librarian for the past 10 years. Katie’s design endeavors have brought her to various projects on both the East and West Coast.

BOB MARTIN  |  Book

Bob Martin has been working as an actor and writer in Canadian theatre, film and television for over three decades. He has had a long association with the Toronto Second City, where he co-wrote and performed in four Second City revues, directed three, and had a stint as Artistic Director. He is a co-creator of The Drowsy Chaperone, and has performed in many of its incarnations including Ahmanson Theatre (Los Angeles), Marquis Theatre (Broadway), Novello (London). Bob has won a number of awards for his work including an LA Drama Critics Circle Award, an L.A. Stage Alliance Ovation Award, a Drama Desk Award, a Theatre World Award, and a Tony Award. He is also co-creator of the critically acclaimed dramatic series Slings & Arrows. Recent TV projects include Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays I & II (CBC), Sensitive Skin I & II (HBO), and Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas (NBC). Recent theatre projects include Elf (Broadway), Minsky's (Ahmanson LA), and in dev., Gotta Dance, The Sting, and Millions. Bob reunited with Elf collaborators Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin to create the new musical The Prom, which ran on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

DON MCKELLAR  |  Book

Don McKellar was born on 17th August 1963 in Toronto, Canada. Beginning his career in the theatre at a young age McKellar co-founded Childs Play Theatre, and went on to study English and theatre at the University of Toronto. In 1989, he co-founded the Augusta Company with Daniel Brooks and Tracy Wright, then moved into feature films writing the screenplay for Bruce McDonald's film 'Roadkill' (1989). McKellar has continually collaborated on and produced engaging and provocative work in film, TV and theatre - whether acting, writing, directing or all three. He made his directorial debut in 1992 with two short films, 'Blue' (starring David Cronenberg) and 'Bloody Nose', then in 1998 completed 'Last Night', his feature directing debut (which he also wrote and4 starred in), for which he won the Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Film Festival.  He continued directing with his TV series 'Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays' in 2012 and is currently working on a remake of La Grande Séduction'. He has numerous screenwriting credits to his name including the screen adaptation of 'Blindness' from Nobel Prize–winning author José Saramago's novel, co-writing the critically acclaimed 'Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould', 'Red Violin' and Bruce McDonald's early films 'Roadkill' and 'Highway 61'. Particularly memorable for his acting roles as anti-hero, TV-watching agoraphobic Curtis in 2 seasons of 'Twitch City', voicing the character 'Jack' in 5 seasons of Odd Job Jack and as pretentious theatre director Darren Nicholls in 'Slings and Arrows'. McKellar has even covered the musical genre with his co-written play The Drowsy Chaperone which won him a Tony Award, touring Toronto, London and New York and currently has plans to create another musical.
