Cabaret performance featuring Sarah Kronenberg (7:00 PM)

Sarah Kronenberg moved audiences as "Mother" in BCP's inaugural production of Ragtime in 2020 and delighted audiences again with giggles as Sunday in the Park with George's "Celeste #1" in 2023. Now, she brings us her solo cabaret, The Strange Adventures of an Accidental Theatre Kid: A Musical Adventure, as seen at NYC's Don't Tell Mama last July. Navigating and narrating Sarah's journey into the crazy world of performing, it's a musical celebration of all theatre kids... even (and especially) the accidental ones.
You'll also get an exciting sneak preview of our upcoming January 2026 concert production of Side Show, featuring the talents of Samantha Rae Bass and Johanna Regan Milani, both recently seen in BCP's The Drowsy Chaperone.

The Strange Adventures of an Accidental Theatre Kid

Sarah is a New York based artist & soprano who is excited to rejoin the Brief Cameo team after playing Mother in Ragtime and Celeste #1 in Sunday in the Park with George. Other previous stage credits include Secret City Cabaret (Under St. Mark’s, NYC); Binge, The Tragedies (Secret Theatre / New Voices); The Real Inspector Hound, Dear Brutus (AlphaNYC); Cranky Cabaret; Into the Woods, Female Transport, The Seagull (Circle in the Square Workshop). This summer she also premiered her one-woman show, The Strange Adventures of an Accidental Theatre Kid, at Don’t Tell Mama (NYC). Proud Graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School’s Professional Musical Theatre Program. ERIC LARIVEE | Piano

Eric Larivee is an award winning cabaret and musical theater artist, producer, director and music director. He has appeared off-Broadway, and in cabaret rooms across NYC, England, France, and Germany. Off-Broadway credits include El Greco at INTAR and How Green Was My Valley at New Dramatist. Eric has produced, directed and music directed well over 200 musical theater and cabaret/jazz productions including the history making productions of “New Ways to Dream- A Tribute to Musical Theater” starring Eric’s mentor and Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley and the "40th Anniversary Celebration of The Music Man" Guest Starring Academy Award winning movie musical legend Shirley Jones. He has performed/worked with Betty Buckley, Julie Wilson, Elaine Stritch, Margaret Whiting, Craig Carnelia, Michael Rupert, Judy Kuhn, Shirley Jones, Hildegard, Julie Halston, Celeste Holm, Maureen McGovern, Ann Hampton Callaway and more. Mr. Larivee is a much sought after vocal technician and musical theater/cabaret coach and director. He maintains studios in NYC, West Hartford, CT and Boston, MA. He is the former musical theater department chair at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts where he developed an award winning musical theater college prep curriculum. He is the past president of the Boston Association of Cabaret Artists (BACA). Past assistant director of the Eugene O’Neill Cabaret Symposium. He studied at the Boston Conservatory, the Hartt School, Manhattan School of Music Professional Musical Theater Program and Yale University.

The Strange Adventures of an Accidental Theatre Kid premiered at Don't Tell Mama in NYC on July 11, 2025 with Music Direction by MASON GRIFFIN.

The evening will also feature a sneak preview of BCP's upcoming January 2026 concert production of Side Show, featuring the talents of SAMANTHA RAE BASS and JOHANNA REGAN MILANI, both recently seen in BCP's The Drowsy Chaperone.
