A few things to know...

  • All tickets sales will be online advance only. No added fees!

  • Sorry, no cash sales and no door sales.

  • Seating will be assigned based on best available at time of purchase.

  • Tickets ordered together will be seated together as a single group. Please place multiple orders for separate households.

  • Please note that the venue's current socially-distanced seating chart limits most seating together into pairs or groups of four (balcony only).

  • Physical tickets will not be mailed; you will simply check in at the door upon arrival.

Why the changes?

These changes are part of our efforts to produce safely in light of the current COVID-19 situation. We will be announcing additional protocols for attending the performance and how we intend to rehearse safely as we get closer to the show. We appreciate your patience and assistance as we navigate making art again.

Where is the show?

The Ivoryton Playhouse is located in Ivoryton, a beautiful section of historic Essex, on the banks of the Connecticut River. It can be found right off Route 9 (from Exit 3 or Exit 4). The address is:

What has the venue done for safety?

The health and safety of our actors, patrons and staff is our top priority. The Ivoryton Playhouse has made many improvements for your protection, including socially-distanced seating, increasing the flow of outside air to 40%, installation of air purification units, increased cleaning, hand sanitization stations, and more. Is there parking?

Limited free street parking is available around the Playhouse. Ample parking is available in the lot across the street from the Playhouse, but please note that this parking lot is not owned by the Playhouse and the owner charges $5 per car for parking. Neither the Playhouse nor BCP benefits from this charge for parking.

Are there wheelchair accessible seats?

If you should require wheelchair-accessible seating, please email us from the same address you used for your ticket purchase and we will be happy to accommodate.

Are there hearing assisted devices available?

Hearing assisted devices are available at the box office. Simply ask for a headset and turn on the device to enjoy enhanced speech, music and sound effects.
